Massive server fail on my end today. So far it’s been more than 12 hours of trying to load the new pages. But it’s Friday and time for another instalment so I keep trying...And here we are.

 The saga continues as we rapidly approach the final instalment of the Stranger and Strangers story line. But fear not as Sojourn is set to continue for a long time yet.

Sojourn is back.

Firstly let me apologize for the long drought here. As my last post said I have moved from Ottawa to London (UK), and it was only recently that I have achieved both employment and my own place.

That being said and all details of living requirement having been achieved I now return you to regular instalments of the Original Sojourn series and hereby give you my heartfelt promise to do everything possible to return you to the comfortable goodness of free comics on Friday.

Having said all that this may present a good opportunity to return to the beginning and read through to the present (if you haven’t already) as we are quickly coming to the end of issue #2 and the “Stranger and Strangers” story arc.

Here we are again with another instalment of free Friday Sojourn. This week is a little special as this will be the last instalment posted from Canada. This time next week I’ll be back in the UK for the foreseeable future. The only real difference to you, dear reader, is that you’ll see the Friday post earlier (5 hour time difference). Our antagonists (I have trouble referring to C.T. as a “hero”) have their backs firmly against the wall this week and it looks like large scale violence and destruction are on the cards.

Sorry for the late posting. I blame it on being page 13 on Friday the 13^th. But that might just be an excuse. Truth is I’ve been running around all day trying to get ready for some big changes coming up and I haven’t been able to get to the computer ‘till just now.

At any rate you’re not here to listen to me complain about my day you’re here to lose yourself in some new pages, and these are some good ones. Lots of development and plot hooks, not to mention the firing of guns.

It’s been a great week. Both my Father and I celebrated aging without dying (Me on the 3^rd him on the 4^th). Then of course there’s your weekly Sojourn fix but also it’s Free Comics Day this Saturday too. Doesn’t matter if you’re a hard core fan or just dabbling get down to your local shop this weekend and support both them and the industry. Doesn’t matter if your thing is Strong Men in Tights or twisted tales like you’ll find here get down to your Shop and get to know both your local dealer and your fellow geeks...

Let’s face it, for some of us it’s about the only time we see sunlight.

If you’re in Ottawa head down to Bank St. And bug Rob at The Comic Book Shoppe (http://www.thecomicbookshoppe.com/) for your free stuff...He’s implied there may be muffins and people in costumes.

Week 14

Free Comic Friday and spring is springing.

Another big Sojourn weekend as there’s yet another photo shoot this time for the upcoming stories “Grief” and “Just keep Livin’” also we may be doing some shots for “Sister Steel” as well. So a heavy Saturday of shooting all told, 5 models a make-up artist and costumer all told. Should be a good laugh, and as this will likely be my last Sojourn shoot in Ottawa a bit of a wrap party afterward.

Lucky week number 13 and we’ve reached Issue #2.

It’s been fun re-releasing the book, reliving the experience and collecting some new fans along the way.

Since starting this whole thing I’ve been in touch with most of the people who worked on the original book and I’m in the process of getting them to put down some of their thoughts on “the good old days”. Watch this space.

April 1^st...did they get you? Pull any good pranks yourself? Either way there’s new Sojourn to ease you into the weekend.

Speaking of new had a great shoot last weekend with the lovely Lilly for the new story “Grief”. Once the run of original stories runs its course you’ll be seeing a whole slew of new stories to update and expand the SOJOURN world. Hope you’re as excited as I am.

Week 11

It’s a lovely, melty, Friday...happy post Paddy’s, hope the hangover isn’t too bad.

It was another great photo-shoot last week for The Heart Box and yet another planned for next week. Check out the SOJOURN Facebook page for behind the scenes pics and teasers.

The new Sojourn stories are coming fast and furious now, lots of "new" coming your way when the original stories are wrapped up and the plans for the new graphic book are shaping up nicely.

A fine damp Friday to you all. The melt seems to have started and a busy weekend looms. There’s another shoot for The Heart Box this Saturday and I’m scheduling for another story shoot after that. All that and time changes Sunday. No rest for the wicked.
